Fire and water restoration windows and doors

Water restoration door

Grabill is leading the way for window and door manufacturers in the fire and water restoration arena.  A fire damaged Rochester, Michigan shop was brought back to life with replica Palladian windows and transoms. Grabill fabricated double hung windows and casements with leaded glass panels to exact detail.  Hardware was restored or replaced as needed.  For a different fire restoration project, Grabill manufactured reproduction woodwork including ponderosa pine sash components, interior trim soffet brackets, crown, beveled siding and shutters. Included in the project were fabricated sash using original open mortise and tenon joinery.

A northern Michigan lakeshore home experienced extensive water damage and Grabill was contacted by Belfor to restore and replace damaged window and door units.  This custom entry door was part of the restoration that included inswing doors with outswing screen doors, multi-lite oval windows, operable round pivot windows and outswing and tilt-turn casements.  Grabill products meet Historical Preservation Guidelines and can be constructed to match the original window or door perfectly.

Roll Screen Window

Grabill is currently fabricating windows for a project in Northern Michigan. This project involves in-swing casements with roll screens and storms.  The retractable screens slide into the natural recess of the window frame and virtually disappear when not in use.  The screen hardware offers a quite, smooth operation and protects the screens from the elements when retracted.  Grabill custom products have endless design possibilities.  For more information on Grabill Windows and Doors, please visit our website.
