Grabill’s premium lift and slide door systems are a perfect solution for patios, sunrooms and rooms with a view, our doors slide neatly together or pocket into a wall offering a full view, maximizing indoor-outdoor living enjoyment.

Large door panels slide easily and quietly with the simple movement of one handle. When closed, doors secure to the jamb at multiple points and drop to the sill to engage the weather-stripping for security and strength. Doors up to 6 feet in width can be combined to create wall openings measuring up to 40 feet in length. Premium stainless steel hardware is standard and a variety of custom levers and trims are available. Lift and slide doors are also available in aluminum clad and bronze-clad.

Custom Architectural Wood Windows

Custom wood window options include (but are not limited to):
  • Casement & Awning: Grabill offers casement, awning and hopper windows in a variety of configurations which can be integrated with fixed in frame windows and doors. Operable sash is assembled with mortise and tenon joinery.  European in-swing and American out-swing operation is available.

  • Tilt Turn: Contemporary styled, multi-function window is operated by a single lever.  Window swings in like a door for maximum ventilation, and tilts in at top for indirect ventilation.

  • Contemporary Direct Set: Contemporary direct set windows are an important product for maximizing glass area, with considerable cost savings.

  • Traditionally Hung (Single, Double, Triple): Single, double and triple hung windows with weight and pulley, concealed spring balance operation or single glazed unbalanced sash with spring bolts.

  • Historical Replica: Historically accurate “Preservation Series” of windows meet and exceed conserver standards.  Grabill replicates each product to the finest detail, including custom profiles, mutin bars, restoration glass and replica hardware.

Custom Traditionally Hinged Wood Doors

Grabill custom wood doors come in all shapes and sizes. Traditionally hinged doors are perfect entry-way and interior doors.  These doors come standard with blind mortise and tenon joinery, and are built for in-swing or out-swing operation. Solid wood panels can be raised, flat, book matched or “v-grooved” tongue and groove panels. The door jambs can be solid or laminated and engineered for larger doors. Full mortise locks or European multi-point lock systems with custom levers and trims are available. 

Each component of Grabill’s wood doors are fully customizable according to client specifications:
  • Wood Species: Include, but are not limited to: Knotty Alder, Cherry, Spanish Cedar, Genuine Mahogany, Walnut, Sapele, Douglas Fir, Teak, White Oak, Ponderosa Pine, Eucalyptus, and Cypress.
  • Hardware: Premium hardware is essential. Stainless steel and architectural bronze hardware are standard with specified finish options including satin nickel and oil rubbed bronze. All our hardware carries a lifetime warranty.
  • Paint & Finish:  Wood finishes can be primed only, painted or stained to your specifications with samples provided for final approval. Custom rustic and aged antique finishes are also an option.
  • Glass: Grabill can match any profile and offer high performance glass options to meet all your needs with concentration on energy efficiency. Glass can be tempered, laminated, reflective, obscured or as specified. Sound reduction, high wind, avalanche, and security glazing are all options.  Grabill has an in-house art glass studio which allows us to create custom designs for your product.
